Marcello Lippi: If an offer from Russia arrives in autumn, I will consider it
Former head coach of the Italian national team and Juventus Marcello Lippi has declared that is ready to consider offers from Russia in the autumn.
«Within the next three or four months – until September or October – I won’t be able to leave Italy for some personal reasons related to my family,» said Lippi as quoted by Sovetsky Sport.
«Why didn’t you return to Juventus?»
«Just because nobody has approached me from Juventus.»
«The owner of Spartak Moscow Leonid Fedun has stated recently that he had contacted you, but you had declined the offer.»
«I will not name the teams who had approached me.»
«Would you exclude any possibility to work in Russia?»
«If an offer from a Russian club arrives after October, I will certainly consider it.»
