Rostov goalkeeper Dejan Radic who suffered a collision with Terek forward Zaur Sadaev during the Matchday 6 game of the Russian Premier League, has been diagnosed with kidney rupture. The doctors at the local resuscitation department have been forced to remove the damaged kidney. It is still uncertain how long will Radic’s recovery take and whether he will be able to continue his playing career at all.
After the episode, Sadaev has been given a yellow card by the referee Alexey Nikolaev. Rostov officials have stated at first they will pursue Sadaev’s disqualification, but have later dismissed the claim.
