NJ Devils’ Kovalchuk: We’ll have extra motivation for the match against the Islanders

New Jersey Devils forward Ilya Kovalchuk told The Star-Ledger that his team will be extremely motivated ahead of the NHL encounter with the New York Islanders.

«Are you going to be especially motivated tonight?»

«Definitely. We want to establish the way we play. We have to play against every opponent the same way. We’re all aware that they beat us 1-0,» the Russian star said.

«Our crowd is going to be behind us. We’ll show up with a lot of energy,» Kovalchuk added.
