Anzhi boss Hiddink wants local talents in the team, «not just world stars»

Anzhi Makhachkala manager Guus Hiddink claims the club needs to maintain a balance of international stars and talented local lads in the squad.

«For me personally, and for Russia as a whole the WC-2018 is extremely important. It is essential to provide a lot of attention to the youth system in the country. I don’t intend to use my reputation to attract international stars to the club, even though I could. I believe it is vital to improve the youth system so that we could raise a new generation of talented Russian lads,» the Dutchman told Russia Today.
