Biathlete Maxim Chudov to begin rehab after another spine injury

Russian biathlete Maxim Chudov will be unable to train for some time because of another spine injury, which he sustained when he skied off a hill, his wife confirmed in a newspaper interview.

«He fell down while skiing down a hill and damaged his spine. He couldn’t sleep for nights. Now he can at least get up. On the March 3 he will start his rehabilitation and will return on April 10,» Chudov’s spouse Nadezhda told Komsomolskaya Pravda.

The three-time world champion recently recovered from another spine injury, and only returned to training in December.
