Fenerbahce issue a hands off warning to Zenit over Slovak striker Miroslav Stoh

Turkish outfit Fenerbahce released a statement on the club’s official website confirming that they rejected a bid from Zenit St. Petersburg for the Slovakia international Miroslav Stoh.

«Our reaction to these reports is very clear and simple: Miroslav is our key player and he is not for sale. We will continue to reject offers from other clubs interested in this player. We can confirm that the Russian league leaders made an approach for Stoh, but we turned them down. Since then we have not received any other offers for him.»

According to some reports, the Russian champions were willing to splash out €10 million for the 22-year-old Slovak.
