Zenit opted against Jadson bid last autumn

Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Jadson could have joined Zenit St. Petersburg last autumn.

According to Bobsoccer.ru, Jadson’s agent had contacts with the Russian club on the eve of the Shakhtar Donetsk vs. Zenit St. Petersburg game in the UEFA Champions League group stage, but Zenit declined to make a bid for the Brazilian.

It has been recently reported that Jadson was close to a move to Sao Paulo.
