Jon Mirasty: Russian players are afraid to fight, Svitov was the only one to act like a man

Vityaz Chekhov forward Jon Mirasty shared his impressions of the Russian hockey and stated that the KHL players aren’t tough an strong enough.

«I’m still sure that the Russian players are afraid to fight. Alexander Svitov was the only one to act like a man. What a nonsense! I’m having a rest during matches, like it’s a health resort or something!»

«So you’re not impressed by Russian hockey?»

«The guys from the KHL should get stronger. They are afraid to play tough, to use their power!» Mirasty said according to Sovetsky sport.

Mirasty had a fight with Salavat Yulaev forward Alexander Svitov during the match between their teams at Romazan Memorial tournament, which ended in a 4:11 defeat of Vityaz.

The fight began when the score was 2:0 for the Ufa team. Svitov received 15 (5+10) penalty minutes, while Mirasty got 5 minutes.
